Welcome to our very own blog. To begin, W279 is a family, and is a part of City Harvest Church. We belong to KEL Zone, led by Lay ZS Kelvin. And KEL Zone is under a dynamic pastor, Pastor Zhuang. W279 consists of an ordinary yet unique bunch of people who are learning to be simple, true worshippers. We are a diverse mix of people... as young as 10, till as YOUNG as 25 (and above). We are all about Simplicity as we believe that simplicity is life, at best.
The purpose of this blog is to serve as a virtual place where the members of W279 can connect efficiently with one another, and even, inspire the world out there. Join us, you will love us. WE ARE FAMILY.

Ho ho ho, W279!
Dear W279 Family,
Take a deeeeeeeeep deeeeeeeeep breath...
Do you smell... what I smell?

IT'S CHRISTMAS IN THE AIR!
*Jumps around with joy and throws confetti in the air*
OH!
You better watch out...
You better not cry...
You better not pout..
AND I'M TELLING YOU WHY....
Not Santa Claus,
BUT OUR VERY OWN CHRISTMAS PARTY
IS COMING TO TOWN!!!
*SCREAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
WHERE: Joel, Joelynn and Joey's house!
WHEN: 20th December (Sunday) *Mark it down on your calendar*
WHO: Who else but..... W279'ers!!!! All friends of W279 are welcomed too! :)
Most importantly, what to expect?
1. Food... and MORE FOOD.
Nothing speaks of the spirit of the season more than having EVERYONE gathered around a beautiful table loaded with sumptuous foods and desserts. And so, lets all contribute our part by each bringing a delicious CHRISTMAS food.
For those in need of ideas, here's a few suggestions:
1. Stuffed turkey (Hmmm)
2. Roast Chicken, Chicken Wings
3. Ham!!
4. Hot dogs/sausages
5. Potato salad, Mashed Potato
6. French fries
7. Burgers/sandwiches
8. Steak, Chicken Chop, Lamb chop, Pork Chop (Available in all NTUCS)
9. Broccoli/Carrot
10. For desserts: Ice-cream, LOG CAKES, fruits...
11. And perhaps lets pop some sparkling juices! :D
12. EVERYTHING ELSE GOOD AND CHRISTMASY.
No chips(There will be a few), no candies, no weird stuff OKAY? :D
This year, our very own Christmas FOOD I/C will be Shyang Zhi & Chin Ming!!!
Please let them know by this weekend what food you're bringing, so they can compile and check through!
