Welcome to our very own blog. To begin, W279 is a family, and is a part of City Harvest Church. We belong to KEL Zone, led by Lay ZS Kelvin. And KEL Zone is under a dynamic pastor, Pastor Zhuang. W279 consists of an ordinary yet unique bunch of people who are learning to be simple, true worshippers. We are a diverse mix of people... as young as 10, till as YOUNG as 25 (and above). We are all about Simplicity as we believe that simplicity is life, at best. The purpose of this blog is to serve as a virtual place where the members of W279 can connect efficiently with one another, and even, inspire the world out there. Join us, you will love us. WE ARE FAMILY.

Personal Sharing by Cyn
Hey Guys:
While I type, you guys are having a great CGM with Kel now @my house. ;) Just wanna share a heartwarming experience... I was taking the lift from 4th Floor down to B2 when this elderly man came into the lift at Level 1. He was going to attend Dialect Church at B4. I continued to hold the lift for the next 5-7minutes because all his fellow elderly friends, all smiles, came in one by one. Being more senior in age, they were walking very slowly. But I felt so happy just holding the lift for them. I felt so warmed in my heart seeing them so excited to go to B4 for CHURCH! Points here are these ... Firstly, i think we ought to always check our heart for the same sincere kind of excitement whenever we go to church... in fact, they were all EARLY for church. Not strolling in late. And hello? They are old in age already! God bless these dear souls. No matter what you are doing for God (for me, a CGL & Church staff)... never forget that service always starts in the smallest ways like holding the lift (thank you ushers!) and all. Also, let's be so polite to the elderly. Be helpful if you come across a JAMS church member, an elderly, a little child, and of course, your fellow friends ... :) Another thing I wanna address especially to all the younger aged members: I hope that you guys remember that you got to be a testimony at home, to the best of your ability. I really do not wish to hear from your parents that you are rude or rebellious, or especially if your exams are here, I hope we don't hear of you not studying... Because seriously, we will rather you not come for CGM if the above does happen. So we will be monitoring :) ANYWAYS, my sharing is out of a heart that has just been warmed up by a bunch of special grandpapas & grandmamas. We are family. :) |
