Welcome to our very own blog. To begin, W279 is a family, and is a part of City Harvest Church. We belong to KEL Zone, led by Lay ZS Kelvin. And KEL Zone is under a dynamic pastor, Pastor Zhuang. W279 consists of an ordinary yet unique bunch of people who are learning to be simple, true worshippers. We are a diverse mix of people... as young as 10, till as YOUNG as 25 (and above). We are all about Simplicity as we believe that simplicity is life, at best.
The purpose of this blog is to serve as a virtual place where the members of W279 can connect efficiently with one another, and even, inspire the world out there. Join us, you will love us. WE ARE FAMILY.

Study group
Yoz!
Guys! Study group for this week will be on Sunday, 10 am at the library near Jurong point.
If you have any difficulties with your homework you can ask for help, I am sure there will be someone who can help=) So do remember to bring all your homework and textbook that you are going to study.
One thing to take note: We are going to study, so if you are not studying please do not distract the others.
Lastly, let's study hard and glorify God with our results=)

Spread the CNY cheer!
Hello FAMILY!
Why, but it's me again!
Had a thought, and yes, we're gonna put it into action!
With Chinese New Year coming up ... Kel & I are planning for something meaningful we can do this Lunar New Year as a CG.
As such, do note that next Saturday (Feb 6), we are planning to do HOME VISITATIONS to the elderly at some rundown areas in Singapore, after our service!
I'm working with the Dialect Ministry staff for possible venues we can visit.
Stay tuned for more details!
Hope you're looking forward to visit some of these elderly, who are really lonely and in desperate need. Let's make a difference, as a CG, and spread the joy of God!

Let's keep our engine going. The engine of our CG is our PRAYER LIFE. Your CGCs are arranging for group prayer time or synch prayer time on a weekly basis. Do participate, and let's pray for one another.

Well done, guys!
Hello ALL!
It's me again!
So, we have kickstarted our 1) Study Group AND 2) Bible Study lessons (all of you are in one B.S. class or another) ... WELL DONE!
If you've anything to share about how B.S. or Study Group is helping you ... do tag on our board!
Let's get this going, and start excelling in school & even in the things of God ... And then we will also PLAY HARD!
See you guys this weekend! Ps Kong will bring us a great word once again!
p.s.: At the end of this POST, you should see some moving turquoise-coloured words ... please read the words CAREFULLY and let's do just that! Hee :)
Let's strengthen our stakes and strengthen ourselves this season!

Bible Study!
Hi guys!
This is a "study" period ...
While we want you to excel at school work, at the same time, we want you to also know the Word of God. You shall know and apply the truth of God's Word, and God's Word will set you free!
Personally, I've heard of good testimonies of how Bible Study lessons have helped some of our members grow, and change! So for the rest of you who are NOT YET attending any Bible Study course, it's time to join the rest of us :)
Options for you:
1) Personal Bible Study Classes --- Currently, Joel, Weiyang, Emily & Cynthia are giving on a weekly basis. Let us know what works for you. We'll arrange!
2) NEW Mass Bible Study Classes coming up! --- JW (after S1 service) or at the Riverwalk (for those of you who are at the "higher" levels). Emily will personally contact you guys. Bible Study will be very good for you! Please sign up :)
3) KEL Zone leaders are giving Mass Bible Study classes too. Please find out from Emily.
With so many options made available for you, there's really no reason why you can't have B.S. Do let us know what works for you. And let's get to know God's Word more!

Good news for all students!

As school has started, we just wanna encourage you guys to really study hard. Pay attention in school, enjoy this part of your life's journey!
Let's not just excel in church. We gotta excel in everything we do!
Connect groups, do arrange for "Study Groups", Tuition classes ... do homework together, etc.
We really want you to do VERY WELL in school, in army, at work!

The year has just started ... It's not too late to follow the Bible Reading Chart and check on your Bible reading progress!
