This week's special: BRING ALONG SOME CNY GOODIES & BOARD GAMES for POST-CGM CHILLOUT (BAK GUA especially! Declares carnivorous CYN, hohahe!)

W2736 wishes everyone, a Happy CNY!

Hey guys! Here's an announcement to all members with regards to what's going to happen this Cny:

1. W2736's Ang Pao Exchange!
That's right! Who says gifts exchange is only for Christmas? :)

This Saturday, all members are to prepare a red packet each containing two things:
1) A THOUGHTFUL gift (can be money/small gifts) and,
2) A verse from the bible written on a nice piece of paper.

We'll be putting everyone's Ang Baos into a box and have a 'Lucky Draw'. Lets make it meaningful this Cny by blessing each other with a little love and the Word of God.

2. W2736's 'Reunion' Steamboat Dinner @ Bugis!
After Service this Saturday, we'll also be having Steamboat Dinner @Bugis in celebration of CNY! More details to be sent via Sms.

3. Visitation during CNY!
Uh-huh! What's CNY without home visitations? It's all about spreading love and happiness from house to house, isn't it? Members who are able to open up their house for visitation do let Cyn/Kel know! :) Also, we'll most probably be visiting Ayron. Details to be confirmed!

Wow wow wow. Seems like it's gonna be an exciting Chinese New Year in just... a few days' time!!! :D

Update update!

Hey all! Here to keep things a little livelier by updating the latest happenings in W2736!

Service with Pastor Tan last weekend was mind-blowing as usual. Well, it's Pastor Tan we're talking about! :) After service, we decided to break the boring 'routine' of weekly best/second-best and traveled a little to West Coast Plaza for dinner and fellowship.

And eventually, we settled down at Sakae!

Our beloved leader, who loves Japanese food a great deal! Kelvin wasn't around as he had lead Cg in place of another leader. :(

Alright, don't ask me why Kar took this. It was cutely her first time eating this.

It was overall a great time of fellowship. Not forgetting the BEST part... Mimi. Karuna's best friend whom she tried so hard introducing to us. Ask her about it!

Cynthia, Karuna and I left Sakae earlier as we finished our food earlier. We walked and we walked... and found this really amazing place. Karuna calls it our secret alley.

There after, the night more or less ended at Coffee Bean where the the brothers played 'Dai-di'.

You guys must be wondering.. why do the photos revolve around the three of us, and only just us. I wonder too. It's a girls thing! :P We'll try to snap more of the brothers next time!

service with Rev John Bevere (:

it is yet another FRUITFUL saturday (: a great service we had with Rev John Bevere (: after service, we celebrated 3 members' birthday! yeah! we scream! :D

sooo, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WEIYANG, TOMMI and ZENGYING (: our january babies :D but, we have one more! which is LOKIES who didnt come for sevice.. but still..

then we decided to take cg pictures, and so, we asked one of weiren's members to help us take.

so then we decided to leave the hall.. we were the last cell group! HOW COOL IS THAT. LOL.

then after beinng stucked at lobby for really long, we decided to stay in church to have our dinner. so we went to rooftop to eat our packed away food. so a few members went over to helped to get everybody's food!

the brothers went back to their childhood days, playing at the playground.. hahah. and being so crazy and spinning each other at the merry-go-round!

haha, actually he's trying to throw a jelly bean. ahah

so., below is a video of jeremy being spinned in the merry go round with shyang zhi sitting at the top. though it appears kinda slow and average speed.. but it was really fast. those that were watching jeremy being spinned , got dizzy themselves too! it was really fast, and i think jeremy would fly out if he didn't grasp on to that red pole. hhaha. enjoy !

then when they had to locked up the rooftop, we went to cafe and had a time of games! we played kelvin's version of police and thief. it was really fun. had healer, and all. HAHAHAHAHA .

then,we decided to leave church and a few of us went to jp to chill. so we decided to go to macs since starbucks was packed. then we had supper and kelvin briefed us on our 'jobs' ;D

okay, so that's all. we all departed from each other at 12 midnight. HAHAHAH (: kayy. see ya guys! :D
